Accessibility Policy
Effective Date: 1 May 2026 | Last Updated: 1 May 2026
1. Purpose
Femologist is committed to providing equal access to its digital services for all users, including people with disabilities.
Accessibility is not treated as an optional feature. It is part of how we design, build, and maintain our digital platforms. This policy sets out our approach to complying with US accessibility law and recognized international standards.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all digital interfaces managed or controlled by Femologist, including:
- The public website https://femologist.com/
- Any associated mobile or web applications
- Internal digital platforms used to deliver services
- Third-party platforms where Femologist has operational control
3. Legal Framework
The following legislation and standards inform this policy:
- The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title III
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA, as the recognized technical standard applied by US courts and the Department of Justice
Femologist recognizes that ADA Title III applies to websites as places of public accommodation, as consistently upheld by federal courts. WCAG 2.1 Level AA is treated as the applicable benchmark for demonstrating reasonable accessibility.
4. Standards and Guidelines
Femologist aims to ensure that its digital products conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, or the most current applicable version recognized by the DOJ and federal courts.
Accessibility requirements are integrated into design, development, procurement, and content publishing workflows.
5. Implementation and Review
Accessibility is treated as an ongoing process rather than a one-time remediation exercise.
- Accessibility evaluations are conducted periodically through structured testing
- Identified issues are prioritized based on severity and user impact
- Annual accessibility reviews are scheduled to assess compliance and progress
- This policy is reviewed at least once per year, or earlier if legal or operational changes require it
Where full conformance cannot immediately be achieved, remediation plans are documented and tracked. Our public-facing Accessibility Statement, available at femologist.com/pages/accessibility-statement reflects the current compliance status of the website.
6. Monitoring and Testing
Femologist uses a combination of the following to assess and maintain accessibility:
- Automated accessibility testing tools
- Manual code reviews and keyboard navigation checks
- Screen reader and assistive technology testing, including VoiceOver and NVDA
- Usability feedback, including input from users with disabilities where possible
Automated tools are used to support monitoring but do not replace manual assessment.
7. Reporting and Feedback
We actively encourage users to report accessibility barriers. If you experience difficulty accessing any part of our digital services, please contact us:
- Email: accessibility@femologist.com
- Phone: 1-888-835-6520
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback promptly and provide a meaningful response within 14 working days.
8. Roles and Responsibilities
Femologist is committed to maintaining an accessible and inclusive digital experience. The following roles are established to ensure continuous compliance with accessibility standards.
Responsibility for accessibility at Femologist is held by the designated Accessibility Lead. For all accessibility-related matters, including queries, complaints, and requests for assistance, please contact, accessibility@femologist.com
9. Vendor and Third-Party Compliance
Third-party vendors providing digital tools or services are expected to:
- Demonstrate conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA
- Provide accessibility documentation, such as a VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) or equivalent statement
- Include accessibility commitments within contractual agreements
Where third-party tools present accessibility limitations, Femologist will assess the risk and seek reasonable alternatives where feasible.
10. Policy Maintenance
This policy is reviewed annually and updated following legislative or regulatory changes, after major website or platform updates, or where audit findings require strategic changes.
The most current version of this policy will always be made publicly available.
