Total 16S Bacterial Load and Total ITS Fungal Load

Main Infections: Reproductive System Infections, BV, Yeast Overgrowth, UTI, IC
Resistance Genes:
- Quinolone resistance
- Methicillin resistance
- Vancomycin resistance
- Beta-lactam resistance
- Carbapenem resistance
- Macrolide resistance
- Aminoglycoside resistance
- Tetracycline resistance
- Bactrim resistance
- Extended Spectrum Beta Lactamase CTX-M resistance

- Klebsiella pneumoniae

NGS: Compares the DNA to a library of over 60,000 microbial species. This includes the following 3 common bacterial STIs: Chlamydia trachomatis, Mycoplasma genitalium, & Neisseria gonorrhoeae (at a higher detection level than PCR)
Note: Avoid direct contact with antimicrobials during sample collection process.

If you select that you would like STI testing we will also run a discrete test using PCR that checks for:
- Chlamydia trachomatis
- Mycoplasma genitalium
- Neisseria gonorrhoeae
- Trichomonas vaginalis
Urine Analysis Biomarkers
If you select that you would like to add Urine Analysis Biomarkers MicroGenDX will also run a test that checks for these important biomarkers for diagnosing infections.

* New York orders will only run qPCR for gene resistance followed by NGS, which compares the DNA to a library of over 60,000 microbial species.
