Herb-Pharm prepares their Juniper Extract from the fully matured fruit ("berry") of Juniperus communis shrubs which are Custom Wildcrafted in their natural wild habitat.
To assure optimal extraction of Juniper's bioactive compounds, the fruits are hand harvested only in early autumn (after their color changes from green to bluish-purple) and are then carefully shade-dried and thoroughly extracted. Our Juniper is never fumigated or irradiated.
