Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Effective Date: 24 April 2026 | Last Updated: 17 April 2026
This page allows you to exercise your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, as provided under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and similar privacy laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and other US states.
This page should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes all of our data practices in full, and our Cookie Policy, which covers the specific technologies through which the sharing described here takes place. This page is focused solely on your opt-out right and how to exercise it.
1. What “Sale” and “Sharing” Means in Our Context
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not disclose your name, email address, health information, order history, subscription details, or account data to advertisers in exchange for payment.
However, we do use advertising technologies – including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Google Ads tags, and Microsoft (Bing) Advertising tags – that share cookie-based identifiers and browsing behavior from our Site with those platforms. These platforms use that data to build advertising audiences, measure the effectiveness of our campaigns, and show you advertisements on their networks. Under California law and similar state laws, this type of data sharing for targeted advertising purposes may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information regardless of whether money changes hands.
We also use Klaviyo’s site-tracking functionality, which links your browsing activity on our Site to your email profile. This enables us to personalize marketing emails and trigger automated campaigns based on products you have viewed. Depending on your state of residence, this may also be considered a form of personal information sharing that you have the right to opt out of.
The table below summarizes the platforms involved and what is shared with each.
| Platform | What Is Shared | Platform Opt-Out |
|---|---|---|
| Meta / Facebook & Instagram | Meta Pixel: shares browsing activity and conversion events to build advertising audiences on Facebook and Instagram | facebook.com/ads/preferences |
| Google Ads & Analytics | Google Ads tags: shares conversion and audience data for ad targeting across Google Search, YouTube, and partner sites | adssettings.google.com |
| Microsoft / Bing Ads | Microsoft Advertising UET tag: shares browsing and conversion data for ad targeting across Bing and Microsoft’s network | Opt-out link |
| Klaviyo | Site tracking: links your browsing activity to your email profile to personalize marketing emails and trigger automated campaigns | klaviyo.com/legal/privacy-notice |
2. What Is Not Affected by Opting Out
Opting out of the sale or sharing of your personal information does not affect our ability to process your orders, manage your account, or send you transactional communications. The following will continue regardless of your opt-out status.
We will continue to send order confirmations, shipping notifications, subscription billing reminders, and other messages necessary to fulfill your purchases and manage your account. We will continue to operate the Femologist Rewards program and maintain your points balance. We will continue to collect and use the personal information necessary to prevent fraud, comply with our legal obligations, and respond to your customer service inquiries. Strictly necessary cookies (those required for shopping cart functionality, checkout, and account login) are not affected.
Opting out applies to advertising and behavioral tracking only. It does not delete your account or personal information. If you wish to request deletion of your personal information, please refer to the process described in our Privacy Policy or contact us at privacy@femologist.com.
3. How to Opt Out
3.1 Using the Form on This Page
The primary way to exercise your opt-out right is to submit the form below. You will be asked for your name, email address, and state of residence so that we can verify your identity and apply your preferences correctly. You do not need to create an account or provide more information than is necessary to process your request.
You may select which platforms you wish to opt out of individually, or opt out of all advertising data sharing at once. Once submitted, we will apply your preferences within 15 business days and send you a confirmation to the email address you provide. Your opt-out preference will remain in effect for at least 12 months from the date of submission.
3.2 Through Global Privacy Control
If your browser is configured to send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will automatically honor that signal as an opt-out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for the browser and device you are using. You do not need to submit the form above for GPC-enabled browsers. GPC is supported in Firefox, Brave, DuckDuckGo, and via browser extensions for other browsers. More information is available at: globalprivacycontrol.org
3.3 By Email
You may submit an opt-out request by emailing privacy@femologist.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell Opt-Out.” Please include your full name and the email address associated with your Femologist account or any previous orders. We will process email requests within 45 days and confirm receipt by reply.
3.4 Directly Through Advertising Platforms
Each advertising platform provides its own opt-out mechanism that operates independently of our Site. Using these tools communicates your preference directly to the platform and may provide broader protection across other websites that use the same platform. These tools can be found at the links listed in the table in Section 1. You can also use the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out tool at optout.aboutads.info, which covers multiple advertising networks at once.
4. Requests by Authorized Agents
California residents may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on their behalf. If you use an authorized agent, please provide a written authorization signed by you, and be aware that we may contact you directly to verify the request. We will process authorized agent requests using the same timeframes that apply to direct requests.
5. Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your right to opt out. Opting out will not affect the prices you pay for our products, the quality of service you receive, your eligibility for the Femologist Rewards program, your ability to create an account or make purchases, or any other aspect of your relationship with Femologist. Your opt-out status is not used as a basis for any decision that affects your access to or experience of our services.
6. Changes to This Page
We may update this page to reflect changes in our advertising practices, applicable law, or the platforms we work with. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be communicated in the same manner as described in our Privacy Policy. If we add new advertising platforms after you have submitted an opt-out, your existing opt-out applies to the categories of sharing already covered, but you may need to update your preferences to cover new platforms.
