Kava (Piper methysticum) is prepared from the rhizome and root of noble varieties of Piper methysticum plants 4-6 years old. Their Kava is grown and harvested in the islands of the South Pacific.

Promotes peaceful relaxation, reduces stress and frustration.*

Support for occasional & mild anxiety.*

The herb is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol for potency and to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant. Herb Pharm assures herb identity via macroscopic and organoleptic analysis, then confirms it through methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb. The formula is easily dispensed, taken in liquid form and added to water or other liquid.

Note: Kava should not be used with alcohol or other drugs or herbs that can also cause liver toxicity. In addition, central nervous system side effects of kava such as dizziness and drowsiness may be increased by use with alcohol or other CNS depressants (like opioids, benzodiazepines or some antidepressants).
